Academics, students, journalistsDetails: Who this route is for
Who this route is for
If you teach, research, study or report on how events are covered, tell us what you are working on. We can show you the method and the sample records, and discuss more where it makes sense.
01Who can ask
Eligibility.
We read every request. These are the people the route is for.
- Academics and teachers
- People who teach or research at a university, school or institute, including media literacy and journalism courses.
- Students
- A thesis, dissertation or course project that touches how events are reported. Write from an institutional email or name your supervisor.
- Journalists and editors
- Staff and independent journalists with published work, and student newsrooms. A link to your work helps.
- Researchers outside universities
- Non-profits, think tanks and archives doing work in the public interest.
02What you get
What we can offer.
Today this is demo and sample access plus conversation. The live demo and the sample dossier need no request.
- The demo and sample records
- Everything on the live demo, the four sample investigations and the sample , with no account.
- The method, explained
- Answers on how a score is built, what each input means and where the method is weak. Ask hard questions: we would like them.
- A guided session
- Where we have capacity, a call or a walkthrough for a class, a newsroom or a project group.
- Access beyond the demo
- Decided case by case and written into the reply. We will say plainly what a longer trial would and would not show.
Limits
- Access is at our discretion, and a request is not a promise of an account.
- We cannot supply private data, client material or outputs to be presented as verified findings.
- If you publish something that draws on the demo, say where the figures came from and that they are 7Analytica readings, not verdicts.
03Request
Tell us your project.
Six short fields. Sending opens your email app with the request written out, addressed to us. You can also write to bhuvanchandra@7analytica.com directly.
