Sample dossier
See a dossier before you ask for one.
A dossier is the finished file you hand to someone else: the finding, the sources, the audit and the impact. This one is built from a sample record.

What a sealed dossier is
A sealed dossier is what you hand to someone else: the finding, the sources, the audit and the impact, with the working shown. This one is built from a sample record. Read it here, then download the PDF.
02 The seal
Sealed pages stay as they were.
The seal marks the moment a dossier was fixed. A later change is added as a new dated entry, so the sealed page itself is never overwritten. This file is a sample and nothing in it was sealed or signed.

Port closure: what is established and what is not
A desk editor has an hour to say what is known about a port closure. Fourteen reports say it in different words. Three of them are origins.
Sample data: invented to show the format. Not a real record.

Sample data. The event, outlets, figures and references are invented. A tiled 7ANALYTICA watermark and a sample label sit on every page, so a copy cannot pass for a record.
6 pages, in order.
The sample follows one record from the headline to the seal: “One closed port, fourteen reports”.
- Cover
- The title, what it holds and the words sample data, so the file cannot be mistaken for a real record.
- Key finding
- The headline, a plain summary, the question the record was asked and four readings: reports, origins, primary documents and contested axes.
- Sources ingested
- Six of the fourteen reports, each marked as a primary document, an independent origin or a repeat, with its own score.
- 6-axis audit
- Who, what, when, where, why and how, each with a confidence reading. Two axes are marked contested instead of averaged away.
- Impact matrix
- Nine pillars, each with a reading and a direction. It shows where the claim would reach if it held, and forecasts nothing.
- Custody and seal
- What a full holds and how the block reads. In this file the seal is a stand-in: nothing here was sealed or signed.
Read it as a format.
- Illustrative
- Every name, figure and reference in the file is invented. It describes no real event, client or outlet.
- Not sealed
- The block shows where a seal appears. Nothing in this file was signed, and no digest was computed.
- A description, not advice
- The audit says what the sources claim and where they differ. It gives no verdict and no recommendation.
- Your own dossiers
- A you build chooses its own sections, in the live product. The demo shows how, with no sign-up.
- How the scores are made
- The inputs, formulas and limits behind the readings in this file are written out in the methodology whitepaper.
