Threshold and alert

Risk and compliance teams are asked to show why a decision was taken. The record has to say what the reporting was at that moment, not what we know now.

Two words used on this page

Origin. The first report of a claim. Repeat. A report that only relays another. 7Analytica marks each one, so many repeats are not mistaken for many confirmations.

01 Instrument

Thresholds you can read.

Drag the reading. The needle moves, the alert ladder lights the tier it would reach, and the rule behind each tier is printed beside it.

Thresholds shown (55, 70, 85) are example values for this demonstration. The reading is two or more spreads above its baseline, so it is flagged for you to examine. It is confirmed only if telemetry agrees.

Alerts arrive without the evidence behind them. Months later, nobody can reconstruct what the reporting looked like on the day, or how confident anyone should have been.

Sample day

  1. 07:00 Read the zones. Eight zones carry a heat reading from 0 to 100 against a 30-day baseline. The inputs are listed, so a number is never taken on trust. Record: 8 zone readings captured.
  2. 09:30 An anomaly is flagged. One zone sits two or more spreads from its baseline. The flag says that reporting departs from its pattern. It does not say why. Record: Anomaly flagged, zone 06.
  3. 12:15 A rule raises a tier. Two Tier 2 alerts inside 60 minutes raise Tier 3. The record prints the rule and the two alerts that met it. Record: Tier 3 raised by stated rule.
  4. 15:00 Silence in an active zone. Coverage drops sharply inside a zone that was loud an hour ago. The silence sentinel marks the gap and does not read it as calm. Record: Silence flagged, 3 h window.
  5. 16:45 Weigh the evidence. Corroboration counts independent origins, not outlets. Where telemetry exists it is shown beside the narrative. Record: 4 origins, telemetry pending.
  6. 18:00 Seal the position. The position is sealed with the evidence as it stood at the time of the decision. Later reporting becomes new entries. Record: Position sealed, 18:00 local.
